In Coffeyville Kansas, Home Health provider Windsor Place At-Home Care has used Zemplee to extend that same idea to help older adults age in place at home while giving care teams an early warning system for health changes and a way to reach help quickly when something isn't right, without requiring constant in-person visits.
Together, the two programs demonstrate the flexibility of Zemplee's platform: the same underlying AI and monitoring infrastructure can support older adults across care settings — from senior living communities to their own homes — while adapting to the different workflows of each care model.
Across its deployments, Zemplee's platform has been associated with a 9x reduction in falls, a 42% reduction in hospital days, and a 33% increase in reported peace of mind among older adults and their families — outcomes that also make it a more affordable alternative or add-on to traditional home care and senior living services, according to deployment data cited in the company's award entries.
That track record has now earned Zemplee three finalist recognitions in the 2026 McKnight's Tech Awards: Falls Prevention, Management or Detection, for its work with St. John Lutheran Community; and both Resident/Patient Monitoring and Safety and the new Creative Use of AI category, for its Nursing Homes Without Walls partnership with Windsor Place At-Home Care. Winners will be announced September 16, 2026, as part of the two-day McKnight's Tech Awards + Summit.
